Popped over to see the parents today on my cycle through to dundee.
For once my father is showing an interest in something I'm doing . I had such questions as how far do you cycle how fast. How light is your bike and even what is it made from etc etc.

My little brother on the other hand (16) plays rugby, lifts weights and is terrible at cardio wants a new bike. It would seem after wrecking the 2007 hard rock I left him in pristine order has some how no longer fit for purpose. Yes he has left her out side crashed her and generally not looked after her what so ever in 3 years.
He has shown interest in mtbing but nothing has come of it so far bar constant nagging for a new 600 pound plus bike. So.... Today my father asked me to repair the bike (at his cost). Yippee!!! Now I know men arnt ment to like shopping but when it is for bike parts you just can't print enough money IMO. I have already started writing a list of parts original and new and have set my self a budget of around £200. Just the thought of buying tinkering and fixing is getting me going. I may even get a custom paint job as the frame is badly scratched.

I my friends may not be online for a while as the bike is being dropped off tomorrow night :hyper:

I am assuming that once the rebuild is done, the bike will be for YOUR use, and not for handing back to your bro for him to wreck it again?
