Well I could still be swayed by the 10, but I really don't want sora. Cost saved on the bike would be soaked up by getting that upgraded and still end up with slightly lower spec frame and brakes.

Both green and grey look dead smart, I really like the look of the CdF.... but if it was my choice, I'd go grey.

Genesis always have fantastic coloured frames . Love that copper colour, they had that on the Equilibrium frame a couple of years ago (and there's nothing wrong with Sora either). But between the grey or green? Green. FWIW, my favourite colour they're doing this year: http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/bikes/mountain/trail/tarn-20 . Looks like a nice bike too...

Sat on last years 10 with Sora, really don't like the massive cobra head style hoods compared to the 105 on my current bike. That colour is tempting though...

It does the job perfectly well though, I've had it on my 'crosser for 18 months now and it's been no trouble.

Both are nice colours but in the photo I prefer grey. I might think different if I see then for real.

I'm sure it does, I just hated the way it felt.
I think it will be the green. I was very keen on the PlanetX London Road in lime green, but not travelling that far to try one for size! So clearly can't be averse to the colour in general
Form to get money out of savings has been sent, now to wait for them to deal with that, have a proper test ride for sizing and decide on the wheels...
Plenty more to procrastinate over...

That olive green is not my favourite green but, out of all the Genesis bikes I've seen on the road, I've never seen one that made me think ugh. They all look pretty good to me.

Ordered the green one On 2nd visit and taking it out for a spin it's a bit of an army/land rover green, which suits it's ability to do a bit of offroad I guess

Nothing wrong at all with Sora, just so long as you're not into unbolting bits and putting them on the scales. In 20 years it'll look much the same and work just as nicely. That said, I think it's a step back from the old 2300 with the thumb button for upshifting - brilliant for commuting life up on the hoods.
