I made the mistake of waving to the driver of a slammed VW bay window a few years ago whilst driving my slammed VW Corrado. Big mistake. I hadn't realised that being the owner of a radiator would be deserving of such distain.

I have absolutely no idea of the meaning of what you have just written, any interpretation possible please?

He waved to the driver of a modified (suspension lowered) VW camper van once whilst driving his modified Corrado. The camper has an air cooled engine, the Corrado is water cooled so has a radiator.

I lusted after the Corrado VR6 back in the day, when I had a mk2 Golf GTI. I'd love one now as a weekend toy but it's considered such a classic that used prices have gone through the roof.

Got it. I think. But it would be helpful if the meaning could be written clearly, not in jargon.

Cyclists greeting cyclists is a nice thing in a cruel world, but not a disaster if it doesn't happen.

What is a disaster is when you've been cycling for miles against the wind, stop to sit on a bench, rest and eat your cheese sandwich and along comes Mr or Mrs Chatty. I know this may be their only human interaction of the day but, FFS I'm here to get away from people, I'm tired and hungry and I don't care about your grandchildren!

Small beer I’m afraid is that. It’s cycling 50 miles and knowing you got to cycle .50 miles back and your sat in the cafe and a gentleman sits down next to you and says” Did you know the queens my mother”
