As for the bike crime rate,well I do know a victim. Had his cube road bike swiped from the hospital he works at. All caught on camera. A scumbag (polite version) pulls his hoodie up and walks up to the bike. Pulls a HUGE set of bolt cutters out of his baggy pants,7 seconds later he's through the lock.leaves the tools and calmy rides away.
He knows the score. Doesn't care if he's on camera,doesnt care if he's seen. And nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. !!!
