It is a shame that some kids seem to miss out on the innocent bit of childhood though. I suspect it's more common these days than it was when I was young. I can't believe, looking back, how naive I was in many ways compared to my own kids.
TV, DVD's, Internet, 'explicit' mags etc all contribute

I've had parties spoilt by kids texting their parents... or friends.... I agree about the growing up too soon - I think my kids are too but still slower than the average. I mean I've seen primary school age kids dyeing their hair - why!!!
