A Merdedes perhaps, or some mid sized piece of yank dross?

I really don't know I couldn't even get a clear view of the bottom of the rims .

Not unless a convertible

A rapidly rusting vehicle under the non breathable cover, trapping all the damp air against the bodywork.

I once did this for a few weeks to my motorcycle. Removed the cover, everything was wet through from trapped condensation. I dont bother anymore, plain old thin cotton cover to keep dust off.

Very true and if possible somewhere out of the rain

See, I never understood the excitement around the mk2 Escago RS2000 when Vauxhall were going faster with this beastie 4 years earlier.

The Escort had a lot more heritage and potential but the Droop snoot Firenzas were a cool looking car especially the estate version.

Yes, there is a convertible.

Right sort of proportions , my first thought was a Lancia Gamma

Pretty sure this is a Sierra sapphire cosworth as I spotted one a couple of weeks ago about 100 yards away from this driveway.
