this is what my Gibson copy looks like, even down to the fret board inlay...price tag is a little shy of this one though!!! Plus mine has a second humbucker pick up and chrome switchgear

I currently have:
  • A Yamaha acoustic of some description.
  • A BC Rich Warlock.
  • A cheap Aria super stray that I was going to customise but after setting it up it turned put to be fantastic.
  • A Dean ML.
I'm hoping to add a 7 string after Christmas.

[QUOTE 2792078, member: 259"]Snap! (Honestly!)

But I sold the Eppy a few years back,.

Which Ovation do you have? I've got a 1994 anniversary, like the one on the right.

Can't remember off hand! Was bought late 90's and is a gorgeous deep red/wine colour

very jealous, the telecaster already sounds lovely, the more battered the better I think.

Here you go ...

and the Strat ...

This Strat is modded with hot pickups and a switch to turn the neck pickup on, so you can run the bridge and the neck together, or all three pickups. I've built another with a switch to run the middle pickup in series with either the bridge or the neck pickup, effectively as a humbucker, and a blend pot to bring in the bridge or neck pickup. That makes some crazy sounds, not at all like a normal Strat.

I Wish I had the know how to build up something old into something fantastic, like your strat. I suspect I would really enjoy that.

Tele looks a beauty, although I've never got on with maple fret boards, this is definitely the right look for a telecaster!

I've got

Admira Sevilla classical (favourite)
Ibanez acoustic (2nd favourite)
Lakeland 12 string (would be better used as a cricket bat)
Gordon Smith GS1 (lovely, but i can't get a decent sound out of an electric guitar)
Yamaha Guitarlele (cute but never played)

all strung left hand, which really annoys other guitar players.

I have a Tanglewood TW45 NSB electro acoustic. The neck is fairly slight which suits my stumpy fingers. I also have an Esteve 6PS classical guitar, fairly cheap, but a lovely warm, rich sound.

Now, I have a problem..... My Christmas bonus will buy me either a Tanglewood 12 string OR a Garmin 800/810.

I already have two guitars, but no Garmin. What to do.....?
