Y.day and the last hill is a bit of long one, mile or so in length (after 30mls its teller on the legs...) so as I enter onto it from a t-junction and as I look to my left I see a rider, now you know when you see a cyclist and in split second you know if its a road-rider OR just a cyclist, well this fellow was the former.

I managed to hold him off all the way up the hill by riding one sprocket down from what I was going to as I knew he had me in his sights...

When he did catch me - when I stopped at some lights, he was on a Quintanna Roo TT bike very smart - red in colour.

After that he glided past (on a by-pass) though I was fairly floored after the hill but strangely i dont think he was a total roady as when he came past he went past time trial style and stayed out in the middle of the road...then went by the kerb..so he must have been a pure timetrialist - as thats how they pass people, aint it

He then wound the speed up to 30mph, well I had 50kmphr (as my comps in kms)

If you are the bloke who was on that bike: it wasnt a race in my eyes just a bit of tempo' riding...

Still, it was a grin (in some ways)

Was good 'training' - as I aint done any group riding yet this year.
