A nice one that is.
Usually on a Wednesday evening I meet up with a friend of mine, who does a similar commute to me, and we stop in the local watering hole for a refreshment or two on the way home. This is then usually finished off with some cheesy chips from the local chip shop, and then a slow slog home because we`ve both eaten too much!
As I was stood waiting for my chips, and warming my hands on the top of the chip fryer thingy because it was so cold, an enormous bloke with a loud voice said "hey you need some winter gloves for this cycling lark!"
Before I could answer he handed me his car keys and said "there are a good pair of cycling gloves in the door of my car, help yourself". I went out, picked them up, and they turned out to be a decent pair of Endura winter gloves.
He found them, a few weeks previously in the road outside his house, then asked around to see if anybody had lost a pair locally, but no takers. He was delighted to give them to me, made his day!
