I stopped there a few years ago whilst I was working in Davidstow, it's a bit strange to have them watching you in the bar.

How is it pronounced - Scone or Scone ? :whistle:

Some people think that "Scon" is the local way, and "scone" is the posh way. However, many of my extended family speak with a very broad devonshire accent, and they all say scone.
 
One is relieved that International Talk Like a Pirate is over for another year, it does so interfere with one's public duties. How is one supposed to knight an honourable public servant, with sword in hand, talking pirate gibberish.
