Walking along my local high street last night I was struck by the number of Halloween themed window displays. Even Poundland tills have adopted a spooky "Christopher Lee" voice. The only shop front not bedecked with witches, ghosts and ghoules was the funeral parlour.

Given it's less than a week away, it seems fairly low key this year

Once it's over, the real over commercialisation begins for Christmas
