"Handcuff" type locks??

Anyone got any experience of the handcuff type locks? Particularly the type of experience that consists of "I locked my bike with one of these, and when I came back to it it had been stolen."

Interesting design and maybe easier to pack than the D lock I currently carry, but wouldn't want to lighten my pack just to compromise security.

The original design may have had flaws, but these were ironed out early on. The locks are as secure as any thet you will get for the price

I wouldn't buy one after reading and seeing a few test reviews in different mags they both failed the tests pretty easily in comparison with other locks of similar value.

I bought one on ebay for a quid + a fiver postage. I knew that the locks were relatively easy to pick, but i leave it at work & use it to lock my bike in a secure locked room at work. Not sure i'd use it out in the street tho
