I am a bit concerned, a quick search for best pies in Budapest only comes up with sweet ones, mostly apple but one more interesting sour cherry and chocolate. Will Vernon be happy there?

The market hall has some great cafes on the upper floor where, despite the lack of savoury pies, there's some great black pudding and other tasty things to be had.

There's some great cake to be had too.
