Somewhat of coincidence we watch Winter Walks on the BBC. Tonight we watched one with Adrian Chiles who was walking along the coast at Scarborough and he went to visit Ann route’s grave in the church below the castle.

Her sister Anne due to ill health with TB went to stay a few at Scarborough for the air and the spa waters to recover. She died on one visit and is buried just down from the castle in St Marys church yard.

Cassandra was Janes only sister and is buried in Hampshire.
