Sorry, just seen your posts. It's not really for me to celebrate but it was a national holiday of course and there was a big celebration in Independance Square and huge crowds attended.

Many times when you speak to people here and tell them you're from the UK they say ' Ah, our colonial masters'.

I wasn't sure whether you were Ghanaian or not, either way I thought you might be enjoying the commemoration.
I've only passed through Accra, on my way to northern Ghana where I found the people to be warm and welcoming. I can't wait to go back.
