Well while watching the film, do you remember when Alice gave birth in Vicar of Dibley? And the vicar was holding her hand and while getting contractions she told alice to squeeze her hand, well "Ouch ya bitch" springs to mind on those shock moments in the film
So Ill wait for a cuddle I think, its safer

A bitter sweet day, my parents died a long time ago and I'm too far away to visit the churchyard, but its wonderful seeing our grown up lads and the stepchildren spoiling the Mrs rotten, I'm looking forward to our family meal down our favourite pub tonight.

It hasn't been quite as painful for me this year, 15 months after my mum died, but I really hated the build up to Mother's Day last year. I was getting emails asking "What would your mum want for Mother's Day?" and I'd be shouting at the computer screen "To be allowed to Rest In Peace, you bastards"!

I've had a lovely day. I was out at 8.30 for a run, on was a beautiful morning which was very nice, back at 9.30 (6 miles), then my son arrived with these
strawberry and lemon cupcakes, which he and his girlfriend made yesterday for me and her mum, then this afternoon I took my new Cube out for a spin down to the coast for hot chocolate (me not the bike). I'm a bit knackered now, I think the run plus the ride was a bit ambitious, but in a good way and I've eaten two of the cupcakes
