It's on train tickets bought 09-47 to Skipton then a 50 miler circular route out to my fave place of all,Langstrothdale,with names like Yockenthwaite to roll around your tongue,Kettlewell,Buckden Starbottom,Hubberholme and Beckermonds.What cycling names they are,Beats the hell out of Bradford,Wakefield.Wednesday is the day.

Catch a train to Skipton, ride to Kettlewell. Go over Park Rash and head for Wensleydale via Cam Gill Road into layburn and head eastward to Northallerton and catch the train back to Leeds. Same distance - a fifty mile ride.
There's decent pie shops in Skipton, Leyburn, Bedale, Moreton on Swale and Northallerton.
I think I might have talked myself into doing the ride.
