Well, not really hardcore, just a little ride out with my 7 year old the other day

Thanks FM! Just trying to get him to use the gears properly at the moment, often find him pedalling like mad in a low gear on the flat or trying to crank it in a high gear up hill. Still, he was on a 16" BMX type bike, on stabalisers three months ago (own fault, didn't have a bike myself back then, plus a few other 'excuses') so I'm really chuffed with him.

Wish I'd discovered balance bikes earlier, my 2 year old has one and really scoots around on it. He'll never be on stabalisers

It's amazing how quick they learn, and so full of confidence at that age too - They are bulletproof LOL!

Ah, poor Freddie is a bit lacking in confidence, getting him to try things is a nightmare. Once you finally persuade him though he's well away!

My other two on the other hand; jeez...
