Bottom bracket area pictures as per earlier request , loads of stampings that need investigation , I almost feel that it's more mass produced than hand crafted looking at them .

Have you made any adjustments or alterations? I was wondering if you have an address for Hardisty? I have them on my list, in-between R.O. Harrison and Hercules, but no location information. Your chain-stay bridge implies Italian-made. I have not seen a bike with that chain-stay bridge that was not Italian.

No adjustments or alterations just ride

It's Interesting that you mentioned Italian as there's quite a long mass produced type of frame number, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a quality frame

The Edinburgh Bike shop in Union Road Byker, Newcastle is in Hardisty Cycle's old shop. There is still a stained glass window in the building with the Hardisty logo in it.

Your chainstay bridge, brake bridge and bottom bracket shell are exactly the same as on my '83 Moser, which was made of Falck chrome-moly by Tecnotrat in Cuneo, Italy. Is there an oblong cut-out on the back of your bottom bracket shell, and have you identified the drop-outs?

No markings on drop outs fr or rear no bottom bracket cut out .

Stampings on bottom bracket read 92002473 around the shell and looks like JB then (O or B)2004 across the shell , I did wonder about SBDU Raleigh but doesn't look right.
Tubing is marked as 531 competition
