Been crap here too - son is Type 1 and it's been a crap 2-3 years for us. Son diagnosed two years ago, then had issues with MIL and hospitals, then FIL Stage 4 cancer, dead not long after, then the stress of sorting disabled MIL out - phoned us at 1:30 am the other day, for bugger all... then me with broken spine, then wife's hours cut.

Problems nowhere near as bad as the OP but I have been struggling with a lot of work related stress which has zapped my motivation for life in many ways as I don't seem to have the energy or mental capacity to do the things I should be doing.

No. Never made the train either.
Going to get the EEG wires removed, barrier staff at the Interchange. Opened the barriers and "retreated" a safe distance, rather than come near me. The wires running under the clothes, were what got reported as far as I know.

Odd feeling, being the only thing moving on a street that should be busier.

Well....dunno about 2013/16 but my run has been..,
2012/13, tuberculosis, collapsed lung, pleurisy and pneumonia, dreadful bout of hives, 2 years off the bike, dad passed away 2014 after 6 months in and out of hospital, work has been mental for 2 years now and the last 6 months have been awful with our youngest son who has struggled with mental issues and some serious trouble he's got himself into...which led to attempted suicide. Ironically all that's brought us closer than we've ever been despite the anguish, stress and sadness its brought
We (wife and myself) just booked Spain for August, get the hell out of it all.

Otherwise....slowly getting back into cycling, work is as busy as ever, reduction in hours with no loss of pay and the house is getting ever closer to being paid off, no financial issues so we can be as reasonably happy as we can.
