I've only once not been seen by a bus driver, and it would have happened regardless of which bike I was riding. It was amazing how I slipped between his looks one way and the other, right in the middle of the scan process. No matter, problem was easily averted by a swerve and an airzound toot. Said driver was a good guy, we apologised jointly, smiled and went on our way.

I have been settling into a new job, and for the first week or so I drove in and caught the Park and Ride bus.

Dear Lord, never again. I kept getting the same dozy bint (and I make the point it was her - the other drivers I occasionally had the fortune to get were much better) gave no consideration to anyone.

Lights turning red? Barge straight on through!

Lights turning red at pedestrian crossing, and nowhere to go on the other side? Barge straight on through, and block the crossing!

Turning left at a junction? Don't waste valuable time slowing down for traffic coming from the right... barge on through!

Taken your turn a little inaccurately, and found a car on the opposite side in your way? Lean on your horn until he climbs the curb and barge on through!

I gave serious consideration to making a complaint about her... actually not entirely sure why I didn't now.

I had issues with a bus a couple of weeks ago in Leicester. passed me in the morning a little close and too quick, set off one of those 'watch your speed' signs, then the same bus on the way home passes too close again and then decides to drive head on with me, luckily the van behind me stopped that one. complained via their website and got a letter a few days later saying they would look into it, but it mentioned I hadn't supplied the route only the bus number. I called them up next day to give them the route number and was told by the person on the phone that they knew exactly who the driver was.. so hopefully a word was had in his shell like. Usually they are OK round here but the same bus 3 times in the day was taking the p*ss a little bit.
