Though to be fair I didn't really see that much wrong with his driving, wouldn't it have made sense for you to pull right over to the left hand curb to give him room? Or was it that he pulled away too soon before you had a chance to do so - hard to tell from the clip. Given the cars parked on the right hand side of you, it seemed reasonable for him to turn across the left hand lane.

Guessed it might get pulled. A certain other cyclist website repeated his name so often it drew attention to him. Google his name and business to get an idea of just how [popular Mark Avery made himself.

Are you serious? He turned into the junction and the cyclist made his way past. He called something out to the cyclist who up 'til that point had all but ignored him, but asked what he had said. Without any form of provocation whatsoever he got out and threatened the cyclist. Can you in all honesty question what the cyclist did?
Of course (I'm serious). I'm not condoning the guy getting out of the van - he's clearly an ass. I might be missing something but I didn't hear the van driver say anything when he was in the cab. So up until he gets out of the van I'm not sure what else the driver was supposed to do? My viewing of the clip was interpreted as the cyclist questioning the driving of the van but maybe I'm seeing it differently to others. And if the van driver did say something, wouldn't it have been easier to let it go in any event? The whole thing seemed like an avoidable confrontation.
