If "*****" is ever wordle of the day, then it'll be my turn to buy a lottery ticket! It has served me well so far, with 2 vowels plus 3 commonly used consonants. Having said that, I didn't use it as my starter word today, thanks to what I thought was a subtle hint a few posts previously.
Maybe we should have a rule on this thread about not giving even subtle spoilers (and even non-spoilers which send us on a wild goose chase)? The American spelling thing was a dead giveaway previously.
