I've got a good memory, haven't I? Have you still got that photo?

Not to hand but here's a picture of some of his drinking buddies in 1976. My hair is second from the left on the red seating.

About 20 years ago I was staying at the Caledonian in Edinburgh when I heard a voice I recognised..... it was Sean Connery  he was having breakfast about 3 meters away from me..... and reading what appeared to be a script.

Also, maybe 12 years ago, on a flight from LA I met Damon O'leary and Andy Peters. They were very nice to my young daughter, they signed autographs and have their picture taken with my little girl.

On another flights I met Status Quo and Jimmy Somerville.

Years ago I went to a funeral where Manuel Pellegrini (Man City's current manager) was there, I'd had met him before though.

In Wimslow (Cheshire) I met a few players too, Andy Cole was very friendly and so was Nicky Butt.

In Newcastle I met John Barnes at a McDonalds, he was with his young son. Also in Newcastle I nearly got run over by Gazza, he stopped, asked if I was alright and went on his way, I've seen him around Bournemouth a couple of times lately and it's a sad to see what's happened to him.

I saw Rod Steward in Manchester once..... he was sitting in his car while his driver was getting him some money from a cash point

I don't know how I forgot this (see senile thread I suppose) but I went to see Alan Davies at the Wyvern last year and ended up chatting to the man himself about coffee at the food and drink counter. I'd have thought he had people to do that for him. I was slightly embarrassed because I was wearing a duffle coat and looked a bit like a Jonathan Creek fanboy, without the hair.

I went horse riding in Marbella with a guy from the group Foreigner, drove a bright yellow Bentley, said it was so he could find it after a gig!
Roddy Frame from Aztec Camera was year above me at school, (sister used to fancy him). Also Dee Hepburn from Gregory's Girl went to same school.
Uncle used to play golf with Richard Nixon but I didn't meet him.
Saw Iain Cuthbertson and Dr Who (Tom Baker) when I was a kid, wanted Dr Who's scarf.

my mum shook hands with prince andrew when he opened a new building in my primary school and she was on the chair of governors, my uncles cousin who lives in the US or australia of something is a jazz musician and is a minor celeb out there and he has come over to do a few gigs in london and i went to see him and spoke to him briefly and his other cousin i think used to be in some rock band the same uncle saw saville in a cafe once but didn't speak to him even though he spoke to everyone else in my uncles group, then again my uncle always hated him and gave him a very very cold stare as if he wanted to fight him!

my self though i have met some major CC celebs such as @ianrauk and @rb58 and a few others

part from that i am good mates with a few people who have been in a few articles in local mags of all sorts but no one special although even if i did meet some celeb i would just give them a good strong handshake and say how do you do pretty much as i do with most people
