Don't laugh but I have met all of the Barron Knights, Leslie Crowther and Michael Bentine.
My friend's dad met Matthew Kelly in a car park in Bournemouth.
Is there anyone you'd like to meet?

I have only recently joined up but to add to the talk,i met Tom Weir at a talk he was doing in the local village hall where i lived when i was in my teens,he was the guy that used to be on the Scottish Television back then doing a program about hill walking. I even got his autograph,i wish i still had it.There is a show on stv recently or at the moment where an actor called David Hayman is recreating Tom Weir,s steps and i think the original program is on as well on the same night,not sure wit night it is though,cheers

I went horse riding in Marbella with a guy from the group Foreigner, drove a bright yellow Bentley, said it was so he could find it after a gig!
Roddy Frame from Aztec Camera was year above me at school, (sister used to fancy him). Also Dee Hepburn from Gregory's Girl went to same school.
Uncle used to play golf with Richard Nixon but I didn't meet him.
Saw Iain Cuthbertson and Dr Who (Tom Baker) when I was a kid, wanted Dr Who's scarf.

I have met Richard Nixon, but my uncle did not play golf with him. Other than that, not so many as you'd know of. Oh, and the current President Obama, when he was running to be our states' senator.

Wiggo always waves to the club as he passes in a whirl of wheels. Geez he's fast. Often see him in the local lanes but not yet at a cafe stop!!

I was on the train back to Manchester from London. Sat down and a guy sat down opposite me. Pleasantries exchanged, then he started reading a magazine. I couldn't help but think I recognised him but couldn't place him. It was driving me mad and I couldn't bring myself to say "don't I recognise you?".

So I did something I'm a little ashamed of. I took a sneaky pic of him on my phone, pretending to be texting someone. Then I sent it to Mrs Nickyboy. She texted back....."That's John Thomson you berk"

Bumped into Ken Stott in Edinburgh....yes bumped into him and as I appolagised I probably did the usual look of "where the hell do I know you from" Ken probably though "self-gratification artist" im 5"8 and Kenmust be a bit shorter but I guess everyone looks bigger on tv.

Road racers Guy Marin,John Mcguiness and Connor Cummins;gp riders Jorge Lorenzo,Dani Pedrosa,Nicky Hayden,Marc Marquez,Loris Capirossi,Colin Edwards.
A lot of BSB bods like Shane Byrne,Josh Brookes,Chris Walker etc;pretty easy to catch a chat at somewhere like Snetterton on a Friday practice.

No cyclists though.
