Nah, I think there's a huge difference. A crush is something you know is a bit silly and have no interest in pursuing, whereas the sort of love I have for my wife goes all the way through my soul like the word Brighton through a stick of rock.

There's also a fine line between having a crush on someone and just thinking they're damned cool.

What if the word is Blackpool? Does that do it for you too?

I have a crush every time I see the Singapore airlines crew (female) walk through the airport.

The Virgin Atlantic girls get my vote...

As far as crushes go, I'm with ColinJ on this. I used to get them, but not any more. Maybe it just comes with getting older, and you realise that you have no chance with those who maybe once upon a time you would have crawled over broken glass for! Or maybe too many bad experiences in the past have left me cold, I don't really know.

Since when did being out of reach stop anyone having a crush?
Hells teeth, I had a bit of a crush on Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood, and I wasn't stopped by :-
A) Him being in a relationship already, and
B) Him being a fictional character.
John Barrowman does nothing for me (camp as a gold-sequinned tent), but Captain Jack...

EDIT JB is as camp as a gold sequinned tent, I mean.
Not me. Although I'm vaguely concerned that I felt I had to make that plain.
Maybe I should stop digging.

No I just stroke the frames and whisper , I love you , one day you will mine.

I did that once and eleven months later my bank account was considerably poorer and my bike stable considerably richer.
