Right, November was only just beaten to No1 high mileage by September (that was a nice month)....... I must be mad, no wonder I want a canoe..........

OK miles down in first 6 months due to shoulder issues........

Enjoying it, mostly.

Wish it'd been a bit nicer at the weekends though.

Despite the heavy wind (which has helped me shed another 1/2 stone, I managed 528 miles in November. Looking for 450 in December (due to holidays etc). Happy with that!

I'm happy too. And warm today as the winter gloves and buff came out.

My only gripe at the moment is I'm not getting enough saddle time. This week I've a lot of work on and have had to take a direct route to work, 3.5miles, rather than my usual 15. This is a bit boring. And nexxt week I'm in other parts of the country for 3 days, and 3 days teh week after too.

Me! Dont mind the rain at all, not a big fan of the wind. But I'll be riding right through the winter and loving it:biggrin::biggrin:
Amen to that. Only pest with the rain is that it's brought back the big puddles in the woods which cause the bike to eat brake blocks and wheel rims down the hill on the way home. Need new bike with disk brakes I think.

Hmm I dunno about cycling in the snow. Off-roading on my MTB in the snow would be good fun I expect (yet to see any significant offerings I can test it in). I do find running very satisfying in rain / snow though, not sure why?

Cycling in snow is fun when it has just fallen,it's the night/day after when it goes icey that makes it a bit more scary...oh and falling off !
Yep, fresh snow was lots of fun last winter .. especially off road. On the roads where the slidey motons had been and compressed it and made it all slippy wasn't so good. Then the day after when it turned into icy grooves was :tongue: so I took the car

Will soon be in our new offices 3 miles from my house so I'll be able to walk this year if it goes all icy and nasty.
