I've had hayfever since I was 17. Controlled it with Clarityn, over the counter stuff, but after beginning work in an engineering works which uses masses of epoxy resin I developed an allergy to that. The worst is the itchy throat and palate, which my doc says is an extension of the irritated nerves in the nose.

So he put me on Neoclarityn, which is a prescription-only and stronger version of Clarityn. Wow! Not only does it deal with the resin problem, hayfever?? What hayfever? Best of all it is a non-drowsy formulation, the only slight side effect for me is occasional dry mouth.

This is the worst time of year for me as oil seed rape turns my nose into a torrent...

Clarityn is the best I've ever used in about 40 years of hayfever suffering. Doesn't make me drowsy and works well, especially if you use it for several days in a row.
