I know it's silly and almost meaningless to check this far in advance, but can't help looking at the BBC weather forecast for the area. Currently goes as far as Fri 4th and is looking reasonable :okay:

Been having a quick look at some routes for the 3 days of riding. Conscious of the fact that many people won't necessarily want to do the galactic miles I covered last year, particularly as some of it is also quite hilly.

Preliminary ideas as follows;
Friday, head west to Builth Wells and Brecon - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33871974

Saturday has got to be Gospel Pass and lunch in Ross on Wye by the river if the same pub is open - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33872184

Sunday I'm not sure about, but could head over to Hereford? I just need to check if the city centre is worth the visit and has somewhere suitable for lunch - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33872149

all these routes need a double check when I get a moment to make sure I haven't picked any obviously awful roads or missed any nearby good bits. They shouldn't change much, if at all, but I am open to suggestions if anyone particularly wants to ride something different :okay:

So it looks like it will just be me on my lonesome again for this. Nevermind, I'm sure I will have a great time like last year and the weather forecast is acceptable, a slight breeze from the West, maybe some dampness on Fri but Sat & Sun look fine :okay:

Just got to get two night shifts out of the way, grab some sleep on Thursday morning then load up and drive down late afternoon. Can't wait... :wahhey:
