Haye was using his bad attitude to compensate for his talent by winding up the Champ. Ali, Tyson, Prince Naseem etc used it "in addition" to their talent

Haye had lost as soon as he began believing his own hype!!
I know it's "part" (and not a good part) of the game now but he'd have done much better to just shut up and let his skills do the talking in the ring!
