I thought my headphones where pants because when plugged into the pc i cant hear anything as loud as i'd like . Tonight i plugged them into my guitar amp and nearly burst my eardrums
I have the sound on my pc turned up to full but is there another hidden setting to turn the full up ?

if you are using media player , on the tool bar that allows you to stop , start, skip etc there is also a volume control. If you tube there is also a volume control under the video you are watching. In the control panel , sounds, main mixer, volume.

Will be reduced volume fron the headphone socket of laptop / pc.
If it is a pc tower get a sound blaster fitted in it, problem solved.
