It may surprise some of the organisations that subscribe to these Met Office alerts that we may possibly experience hot weather in the summer, and a spot of rain in the transitional seasons of Spring and Autumn. Do you really need the Met Orifice to tell you that? Makes you wonder how we survived in the dark gloom of pre-history in the 1990's.
I can see the headline now..."Britain Braces Itself for Siberian Blast. Eastern European Migrants Deny Any Involvement"You sound like a bunch of Daily Mail readers panicking !Weather is just perfect just now! Cold and dry!

Duh, yeah (sone sarcasm just for you). We get them in my line of work too.Have you actually bothered to look at what the levels mean before coming out with the sarcasm?
Levels? Perhaps some sarcasm is justified, the local forecast for the next three days is fair, with no temperatures below zero and longer term forecasts are notoriously unreliable..Have you actually bothered to look at what the levels mean before coming out with the sarcasm?
mmmm. Reckon i'm going to have to be very careful on 23mm slicks
We'll see how it goes as my commute is main roads most of the way.
Dry!! Whats that then?![]()
You'll be fine on gritted roads. That's many years of experience talking.
That would surprise meBut you know what - it's never a surprise? Cold weather in the winter, a heat wave in the summer.
