Headset seal for a vituoso?

I have lived with a split seal on my headset (the one that goes between the spacers and the upper race,for a while but i think i need to replace it.

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement seal that will fit or is it a case of a full replacement ?

Does it matter if the top race is different from the bottom?

IIRC mine (a hope headset) has part of a shimano seal. I think some are cross compatable so it might be worth a trip to the LBS and ask if they have any spares.
