I hardly ever watched ITV because I didn't like the idea of having adverts between every programme, but, nonetheless, I have seen most of the things mentioned at one time or another.

Thundercats was BBC I think, as was Bucky 'O Hare.

I've never heard of Bucky 'O Hare but loved Knightmare even though it was as shoddy as anything.

ITV had a few good shows at the time. I found the BBC, particularly Blue Peter and Swap Shop and its progeny, quite condescending.
Chorton and the Wheelies, Duckula, Trap Door. Jamie and the Magic Torch, Dangermouse were, I think, out of the Cosgrove-Hall animation stable and all aired on ITV. I didn't go much for their live action stuff, except Tiswas. And no, I didn't have crush on Sally James.

I think it was all down to what you were used too, I mean, yes, even I noticed the BBC could be very Goodie Goodie Two Shoes about things, but hey, a lot of their cartoons were good which helped compensate...... and there were no feckin' adverts either!!

loved all of these, got a fair few on DVD.
also have a lot of the bbc programmes too, Raccoons was one i always loved. used to watch jamie and the magic torch when i got in from nursery as a kid, i'd sit in front of the tv with my beans on toast and sing along with the theme tune
