Train to Lairg on the 25th, Then up to Tongue, over to Durness and down to Ullapool. From there we'll take the ferry to Stornoway, ride to Harris, ferry onto Skye and down to Mallaig. Then down to Mull for a couple days and eventually back to Fort William to catch the train home.

'We' is myself and a friend. This'll be the first time we've toured together, but we've both done quite a bit of solo touring so it'll be interesting to see how it works
We'll be taking tents (so it'll be full loads on the bikes), though there may be a few hostels thrown in depending on weather/what we feel like, and we're dropping in to visit @wicker man for a night when we get to Stornoway.
Looking forward to getting loaded up and getting out there.
