A bit blowy today on the 7miles to work. The wind seemed to be coming for the E or SE today and was blowing pretty much straight into my face the entire way which held back my average to around 12 mph. The rain wasn't too pleasant and I had to dry my stuff on the one working radiator in our entire building. I reckon it was a good call on lycra and overshoes this morning rather than my walking trouser and bare shoes ^_^

Good ride back with 17 mph average and a slight tailwind and no rain. Happy days :bicycle:

EDIT: I'm glad I'm the only one who cycles in during wet weather or I'd be completely stuffed for clothes drying

Head wind and torrential rain both ways today, and it was cold to, not nice commuting, but at least the cold kept the boil in the bag effect to a minimum and the overshoes kept my feet dry.

I have been off the bike for near 3 weeks with a dodgy knee. Today I was back on it.....!!!
A bit of torrential rain and some blustery winds will not keep me off my bike.

Gonna be a vile commute home too...

Wondered what was up, 3 weeks off a bike, you must be chomping at the bit! Hope all is well with the knee now.

Yep, rain and wind here, just keep peddling, it's good training for the hills.

Not a bad ride in to work, light rain but strong wind. Had to work outside in it though unloading a few container deliveries. Enjoyed my pot of tea and snap at 9.30am. Enjoyed the ride home tonight as I tend to push it a little harder on colder days.....just another day done:thumbsup:

In the last week we have gone from 19C on Sunday in the sun to -1C this morning into a headwind with slight rain and sleet in the air. But I am getting to ride a BMW hybrid bicycle at lunch time, so it all balances out

And you know it will have turned 180 degrees by home time.
How does it do that?

Yes, the wind had turned for the ride home. I but i knew it would. At least i only got a little wet.
Done a quick 5k run when i got home too, got blown all over the place. Made it feel like 10k!!!
At least the wind had died for my ride in this morning. Still pi**ing down though..Happy days!!
