I am looking for a bike I have been told a Pinarello is the best bike.

Whoever told you that is IMHO should be able to support it with reasoning but I personally think they are wrong, I had my grubby little paws on a Dogma for a while, it was by no means a terrible bike, it was also far from being the greatest, lightest, stiffest or the most rewarding bike I have ever ridden, the build quality is what you expect but it's nothing more than can be found on a number of bikes in that price range. Your also not getting a exotic bike lovingly made using traditional hand crafted skills in Italy, your buying a bike made who's frame is made in the far east in the same locations as other brands. It is just assembled and painted in Italy. Some suggest this does not matter, but the perception obviously does as Pinerello make the claim in sticker form on the bikes.

The service and support from the manufacturer is also not what I would expect from a supplier of such products, I have personally received better service and support from Cevello, Look, and S-Works and above all this is what will make me never buy that brand again. Why would I when I can get just as competent bikes with far better service and support from other bike companies.

Just my random thoughts on them, but if you want to look at the brand Halfords will be stocking many models soon.

Imho the best bike is the one that makes you smile, it can be different for different people
