Hello to you all ive just joined the forum..ive been off the saddle for a few years but just started cycling again ive been commuting to work and back for the last 3 weeks its a 20 mile round trip!!its hard work but im loving it.i ride a claud butler mountain bike nout special but does the job!!...any way hello to you all dean,,cheers...

Well done getting into a 20 mile round commute. Is your route all on road? If it is, changing to a set of touring or slick tyres might make it a bit easier and faster (assuming you haven't already done so that is)

hi ya phil yes its all road and yes ive changed the nobbly tyres for some slicks!..made a big difference!..cheers dean,,,

one thing i will ask though phil..i bought 26/1.95 the same has the off road tyres!..what could i go down to?..cus i think ide like a slimmer tyre,,or does that depend on my rims?,,cheers..dean.
