Hi, new to the forum. Been cycling since I was a kid and looking for advice as I am bored with cycling the same routes in my local area of Exeter and south Devon. I'm 65 and reasonably fit. I've done a bit of touring in the uk. Now looking to go to Hook of Holland in May and cycle a circular route back to same ferry, using Euro Velo. Going to be camping, mostly. Any route ideas would be gratefully recieved. Also any other tips for cycling in Holland, Belgium and Germany.

Check out the UK as well, Wiltshire, Somerset, Kent, Wales all stunning countryside and history to see. Other counties equally good as well but those I know most.

I've also responded to your other thread.

How are you getting to Harwich? I get the train from Taunton, absolutely love cycling from Paddington to Liverpool At, take the train to Manningtree and then enjoy the 13 miles through pleasant countryside to Harwich. I've not yet found a good place to eat there before the ferry, but others will have good ideas.

Following the line of the Belgian troops in WW1 is a good route as you get to understand a lot of their history which despite being a near neighbour is very much ignored. Roads for cycling are brilliant.
