Hello from south lakes. 
I recently got back on a bike after about 7 years off probably down to the 'Olympic effect'. Used to cycle everywhere and do the odd road race and TT back in the early 90's and then had little break before trying mountain biking (lots of money wasted).
Anyway the urge to get a bike was getting too strong to ignore so after a bit of net research (how things have advanced, I mean changing gear by electrics !
) I decided a single speed with a nice comfortable Reynolds frame the way to go, reason being I didn't want to fully get back into riding as it would affect my other hobby canoeing too much. Problem is this doesn't appear to be working, I find myself out on the bike whenever I can and I love single speed peddling.
Anyway look forward to chatting to you guys and soaking up all the information.
