Hello from Scottish Borders

Been cycling since I was a young un and after a hiatus have returned to it. Currently on a Condor that currently has been converted to single speed since youngest son overshifted the rear derailleur and that was the end of that. Been on a few short runs and realise that due to a historic neck injury I may have to go to a more upright position. Have a hankering for an old style roadster. Looking forward to gaining knowledge and understanding of this site of like minded folks.

Hi, I'm central Borders, often up the Ettrick Valley on the bike, might even have seen you on the road!

Aye it’s braw up Ettrick and Yarrow, pity the road surface is getting worse. I just acquired a Pashley Sovereign and it’s been a blast from the past and so much more comfortable and enjoyable to ride than my old drop handlebar tourer. The weight however is something else !!
