Nice area - my mother is from the Prestwick / Ayr border and we have toured there, both Lochs and Glens and social.

Whenever we visit we take the sleeper to Glasgow and cycle down to Ayr

WHen you get fitter Dumfries and Galloway are a source to be treasured!
