Hi found you on google, like the site, have an old Kona Lava Dome which needs replacing. I am looking to get Specialized Sirrus Pro but thinking of putting 32's on the rims as I like to go off on the odd towpath etc and wondered of 28's would handle it OK?

Hi

I was running 28's on my hybrid last winter and it handled pathways fine. Guess it depends on the consistency of the surface though. They weren't great going through mud, if it had been raining!

I've got 28s on my fixed commuter. Fine for towpaths and cycletracks, not good in deep mud as already stated. Has the Sirrus got clearance for a wider tyre?

I ride a fair bit in Bucks, sometimes graze the edge of it while riding to work.
