I am 39 and have no written a bike on the road since i past my driving test in 1990!!!!
decided that although i goto the gym 5 times a week i would like to get out on the road again and get fit . (I am 6ft and weight 14 stone).
I looked around for a bike within a budget of £200 ( just in case i gave up), and bought a Viking Giro D'Italia for £179 from Action Bikes ( great shop very friendly and with loads of good information).
Been out for 3 rides so far for 20 mins each and rode 4 miles each time, bith up and down steap hills ( which are scary at first i can tell you. 25mph never felt so fast).
i am hoping to get fitter and maybe ride the L2B in 2010.
