i have joined because i just saw that news item on the bbc about the cycleist who used his helmet cam to get a van driver prosecuted.

i think i need one too

Tell us more about yourself Dave and why you feel the need for a cam? Have you had an experience of bad driving?

Hello Dave. welcome to the forums.

Re helmet cams; they wont make you any safer faster or anything positive at all.

Your money would be better invested on decent lights etc imho.

The cam may provide you with evidence after a crash but wont mend your broken bones.

I ride in Cardiff and think Cardiff drivers are the worst I have come across.
