Hello to everyone from chesterfield.
I'm new to forum blogging. I started out doing some research for a 170 mile coast to coast ride I'm doing next year. I'm going to be getting a new bike and someone said look at cyclocross. I'd never heard of them until last week.

Since then, I've been doing research and wow, there is plenty of helpful advice online. So I thought I'd come here.

I've been considering the Boardman CX team from halfords but I'm a little concerned buying from them. Bike looks great. Also been looking at Kona and Specialized.

Ah suggestions, advice and tips are most welcome

Welcome to the forum. I got my bike from Halfords and not had a problem with it.
If the is a local halfords or local bike shop near you, call in and have a look around try a couple of bikes out.

Pelican and Igloo on Chatsworth rd would be my first port of call, proper bike shops.
