Hello all! My name's Angel and I'm new to the forums. I haven't been out on my bike for absolutely ages, I punctured my tyres around the same time I lost my job in the recession so I gave my dad my bike to fix...well he had her for more than four years before I finally got her back.

Sadly I'm nowhere near as fit as I used to be and I've got to train myself back up to the level where I can go down the sorts of trails I enjoy riding. Still, as I'm training to get up to those levels my dog is also in training. You see he's one of those energetic dogs that as an owner on foot I could never keep up with, so taking him out on my bike I'm beginning to challenge him and finding out that he has virtually no stamina, probably because I was completely incapable of challenging him. So he's currently in training too and we're training together so hopefully by the summer we'll be out on the fun trails together.

Thank you ^_^ I hope so. I used to LOVE going out for an entire day off roading, get home and not being too tired. I'm currently averaging an hours ride time, different distances depending on the slopes and the pup, but an hour seems to be my current cycle time, which is quite appalling.

Welcome Angel!
You and doggie are doing great: wonder if my BigCat would take to mountain biking?
He comes out with me in his trailer sometimes ^_^
