M&S home insurance covers individual items, including bikes, up to £5000 each.

Hardly ever worth taking out separate insurance on bikes, you're better off just putting the premiums aside yourself; usually at least 10% of the bike's value per year.

My mate was with M&S when he crashed on his £5000 Madone (his fault), they paid up without question!

Welcome. Your first step with insurance is to consult your household insurers. They may be cheaper than a third party.

+1 having never had to make a claim, I can't comment on which insurance company...

Oh and Hallo... ;)
