Hi
Name is Stu and I live just outside Chesterfield in Derbyshire..............been away from cycling since I reached 17, now I am back, cycling to work and back during the week, like to cycle around the area at weekends......this has enabled me to stop taking Insulin for my Diabetes (Type 2)
I am lucky to have the Trans Pennine Trail right at the front of my door and I regularly ride to Rother Valley Country Park and back, also use the trail to reach Chesterfield Canal, which takes me right into work (no roads)
Trying to get my head around all the bike jargon and parts...............currently riding a mountain bike that I had given to me (in a sorry state) which I am gradually adding to and upgrading parts, recently had the rear wheel collapse, so am looking to get another wheel soon (on a borrowed bike atm)
Hope I can learn a lot hear and get the info I need to build a decent bike.
