Hi all, great site and a god send of information,
Just started cycling again after 20 years, I run and race 70 + miles per week on the road and fells but just started to bike again to get some extra endurance, been away from the bike scene for a long time and cannot believe how much things have changed, used to ride a gazelle and vitus 979, 1450 kg for the 979 and still got the receipt with full campag group set £565, wish I had not sold it now.pictures added.
getting around 150 miles per week in now to aid my running and loving every minuet of it,
just bought a Scott cr1 frame of the bay for £230 so hoping to build a decent bike out of that with the parts I have, mainly 105.
cannot wait now for next year to try some time trials and long endurance rides.
